Worf Gets Lost - A Story

Last night when Grandma went to feed the outside cats, Worf wanted to help.

The neighbor's dog wanted to help too.

Worf and the dog were not happy to see each other. Worf ran away fast with the dog running behind her - faster.

Worf disappeared, but Grandma didn't see where she went.

It was dark and Grandma was worried about Worf.

She kept checking to see if Worf was outside with the other cats, but she wasn't.

When it was time to go to bed and Worf was still lost, Grandma was sad.

Grandpa was even a little sad too.

This morning Grandma went for a walk to see if she could find Worf.

She saw a lizard, but she didn't see Worf.

She saw a bird, but she didn't see Worf.

She saw a cat, but it wasn't Worf.

When Grandma got home she decided to look in the backyard.

She went into the shed and she saw Worf.

Worf looked at Grandma as if to say, "It took you long enough to come and get me."

Now Worf isn't lost anymore.

This is a "happy ending" story.

I miss drawing pictures with you of the cats and Emperor Zurg.

Maybe you and Jayce or Mommy could draw me a picture.

Love,
Grandma
